problems in wireless networking in Fedora 7

Sir,
I was using Fedora core 6 in my laptop (Make:Acer, Type:5500Z). With that OS, I could connect LAN with other computers which was working in Windows XP. But I saw that my wireless card was not detecting. My wireless card is Intel PRO 2200BG. I got information from an expert from fedora forums that the driver for Intel PRO 2200BG had been included in Fedora 7. Thanks for providing advice.

Recently I changed my OS to Fedora 7. Now I could see that the wireless card has been detected.

I configured LAN in etho and checked the same with other computers of Windows XP. It was OK.

I configured wireless networking with static IP address as given below:
address: 192.168.0.112
subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
I configured wireless networking in other computer (with windows XP) as given below:
address:192.168.0.113
subnetmask:255.255.255.0

I activated wireless networking in eth1, saved and restarted the computer. During the starting process, while services initialisation, I saw that 'Error for wireless request "Set Bit Rate" (8B20) :
SET failed on device eth1 ; Invalid argument.

I am new to Linux and also to networking. I request for your help in simple step by step procedure for solving my problem.
Thanks in advance.

with regards,
