I'm very new to the wonderful linux experience, so bear with me here. To start off I'll explain my system. I have Fedora Core 3 installed with MS XP Pro as a Dual Boot. I have a Netgear Wireless Card (WG311) with an Atheros Chipset. I am connected to a motorola router wirelessly with windows. I can't in any way connect to the router with Linux because I do not have the driver for the card. So that means I must download everything in windows then transfer to a floppy/cd/dvd in order to bring it to Linux. I am looking forward to connecting my Linux OS to the internet through my router. If anyone knows where I can find an easy step by step tutorial or instructions to getting the driver set up on the Linux OS it would be much appreciated. I have been researching the drivers for a while now and came up with little success. I heard about Madwifi, but do not know how to download it in MS and transfer to Fedora. I also heard of using ndiswrapper, but I have the same problem as the Madwifi. Also I am unsure on which would work better for the card. I know that the Madwifi supports Atheros Chipsets. So if anyone knows where a tutorial is or any information that would be helpful for my situation I would be very happy. If more information from my system is required to help fix my problem feel free to ask! Linux is awsome! Thanks for the time.

Just a tip - create a FAT32 partition that both your XP and Linux can share. That way all of your documents can be there and ready regardless of what OS you're using at that time.
As for the How-To, check the HCL on this site and look up the Netgear WG511T. It has an entry by me that will tell you where to get the madwifi and a link to a good help file. Also, I give pretty detailed instructions that should work for your card too.
