Unhappy prob trying to use belkin wireless usb adapter on knoppix live


ive tryed booting up knoppix live 5.0 dvd with my belkin wireless usb adapter and it just stalls on configuring devices so i removed the adapter and tryd it again it worked fine also checked the dvd for burning errors and there where none im stuck and need help badly on getting this to work im new to linux so i dont kno much about it its a

belkin wireless g usb adabter
belkin F5D7050
802.11g
54MBPS

ANY HELP WOULD BE APP

Depends on the chipset.

The ralink drivers can be found at www.serialmonkey.com
I can not confirm if the Belkin really uses the zydas chipset.

I use knoppix and ndiswrapper without problems on an old Dell using BLKWGUXP.sys and
BLKWGU.inf.

DIDNT HELP IT STALLS LOADING UP WHEN THE GREEN BAR GO ACROSS THE SCREEN SAYING AUTO CONFIG DEVICES I DONT EVEN GET ON TO KDE OR THE SPLASH SCREEN AT FIRST WHEN U FIRST LOAD IT UP WHEN IT DETECTS URE HARDWARE

I am using knoppix 5.1 CD. There could be a difference between the two versions.

well was useing the dvd but have tryed knoppix 5.1 cd its working fine
