PRISM card support "out-of-the-box"?

I'm looking for a distro that will just find and support my PRISM-based WiFi PCI card automatically. I tried to install it under Slackware 9.0 about a year ago and gave up because the wlan libraries wouldn't compile properly.

Any recommendations?

Use the orinoco_pci driver which is part of the kernel package or try the hostap driver. Several folks have reported excellent results with that one. Using either of these, you should be able to surf wirelessly on your distro of choice.
