ORiNOCO PCI Card

Hey,
I have been looking at purchasing a Lucent ORiNOCO 11a/b/g PCI Card
(http://www.orinocowireless.com/produ...pci/index.html).
I have been using the Wireless LAN resources for Linux
(http://www.hpl.hp.com/personal/Jean_...ml#WavelanIEEE)
on the Orinico based cards. To me it
appears that the card has a decent driver, but I am not positive the new 11a/b/g PCI card has the same chipset. I have gotten a Lucent Orinico PC card to work in my laptop, so I am hoping the chipset is supported.

Hi,
I bought a Proxim Orinoco IEEE 802.11b-8422-WD card from Mico-warehouse and haven't had any luck in finding a driver. The web site tells me to install the wavelan2_cs from the wavelan2_cs-6.06.tar.gz tarball. When I do this it does not make the wavelan2 driver because that is for the laptop only apparently! If you find a driver for this card please let me know.
