orinoco on redhat 7.3

Hi all,
I'm basically a beginner to linux (not proficient at compiling, etc.) and after several installation attempts finally got 7.3 installed.

My Orinoco silver card seems to be working (green light is on), but I can't connect to the internet (and there is no wireless option when I try to add a network device as some have said there would be)

Can anyone help (or direct me to a HowTo) me get this thing working? I have a dual boot win2k/rh and have downloaded the orinoco wireless drivers in w2k. How do I apply these in RH?

Sorry I'm asking probably very easy questions, but I've tried searching all over the net and can't find "easy" instructions on h ow to install the drivers and get RH to recognize the wireless card/connection.

Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks much,
Scott

Orinoco should show up as ethX in "ifconfig -a" if it has loaded the modules correctly. If you already have a wired NIC as eth0, the Orinoco would be eth1. I don't use RH, but I seem to recall that you would need to create an eth1 config file of some sort. You can check if the modules are loaded by typing "lsmod" at the command line. Unless the support is compiled into the kernel. In either case type "dmesg" and look through the output for messages about the Orinoco card and pcmcia services to understand more about what is or is not happening.
