No Hassle Wireless Setup

I HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT HASSLE WITH WIRELESS SETUP IN LINUX

NO MORE WOOHOO

as you are probably aware i am very chuffed! well you ask how well this is the answer to life the universe and everything!.......42

no sorry its kanotix

yes i downloaded it tonight and its a live cd (maybe not my first choice of install) but it has ndiswrapper ready to go in a menu on the taskbar ! just point it at your ndis drivers on any mount point (apart from cd ..maybe you can) and set your obvious settings and boyo! your away well i am veiwing it right now thru firefox on the desktop!

simple as that all i'd like now is to get an actual install as i got a lot to do to it like nvidia drivers and stuff! but it so cool! on boot up as its about to start its stuff @a very cool futuristic half life style womans voice tells you "iniatiating startup sequence"

well i hope its as easy to do other stuff

only problems i have found so far is i dont know the damn root password! lol
