NL-2511CD Plus EXT2 trouble under RedHat 9

I am having trouble getting this card to work. The indicator light comes on but when I do a iwconfig it doesnt show. I am pretty sure that this uses the prism2 chipset so I downloaded the wlan package. However I keep getting insmod error when trying to modprobe it. Has anyone had any expirence with this card? I'm running RH9 with 2.4.20-8 kernel

Thanks

Update:

Both the hostap and linux-wlan drivers are crap. I have read the I can just use the orinoco drivers with the prism chipset. However when I do "modprobe orinoco" nothing changes. I do lsmod and orinoco is there, but still no "eth1" or "wlan0".
