Post output from the command ' /sbin/lspci -v '. This should help to determine the chipset. No since going down the wrong road. It may end up needing ndiswrapper with the inf driver from windows.
That file is probably part of what you need. Was it for the current running kernel you have?
To current running kernel ' uname -r '.
Not a suse user but for now you might search the HCL section here at the top or to the right to see if listed. Also search the forum for the card model. Maybe for suse and madwifi if atheros based card.
