Talking Netgear wpn111 wireless setup? Ubuntu 8.4

Ok, so after FINIALLY getting past "busybox" command prompt for like the past three weeks, I get Ubuntu Linux 8.4 installed and can log into the desktop. Almost all the hardware is working in the OS. The I have sound, video, my dule 10/100/1000 NICS are in the networking controll pannel, my DVD burner seems to be working so far. But my wireless networking USB 2.0 adapter is not. I have a Netgear rangemax WPN111 usb 2.0 adapter. Linux does not even know what this is or how to use it. The adapter works, because I have used it with Windows XP. I read that I need to copy three files from the Windows XP install and move them to Linux. They are: netwpn11.inf, wpn111.sys, and ar5523.bin. Ok I did that and put them in my "home" folder for now, but they did not make it clear where exactly theese files are supposed to be. Also I recieved theese instructions for using ndiswrapper:

1. Make sure ndiswrapper is installed (use synaptic if its missing)
2.put the driver disk in and cd to /media/cdron0/ndis5
3.run: sudo ndiswrapper -i netwpn11.inf
4.run sudo ndiswrapper -m
5.run: sudo modprobe ndiswrapper (this will happen automatically when you reboot)
6.run: put the device in the USB slot if not in already.

Now click on the network icon and you will see the wireless connectiosn its detected.

But again, where am I putting theese three files?
Also which command prompt am I typing thees commands into?

Thanks!

Talking Nevermind, solved it!

Had to copy the .ini from a windows xp install, then install the wireless windows networking package.
