netgear Wpn111-usb wireless adapter will not work with linux

(Netgear wpn111 wireless) adapter cannot load software from disc that came with the adapter is there any software that i can download and will work with linux.
I need Atheros AR2414 chipset drive i think

Can you provide lsusb (i.e. run "/sbin/lsusb" in a terminal without the quotes) output for the device please? That will help us identify the chipset that it uses, so we can help you find a driver for it.

Also, in future, please use punctuation in your posts because long run-on sentences are difficult to read.

It looks like you may have to use NDISwrapper for this, which allows you to use Windows drivers. Are you using Ubuntu? If not, then tell us which distribution you are using.
