NETGEAR WG311 wireless card not working with FEDORA CORE3 64 bit

Hi,
I recently installed Redhat Fedora core 3 64 bit on my AMD 64 machine. My problem is I could not get my Netgear WG311 wirelss card working with it. My ABIT motherboard also have an onboard NIC which works fine with this fedora 3 but my goal is to have my wireless card works. I know I have to recompile the kernel to support the card. So I recompiled kernel 2.6.9 and it still did not work. I guess my question is what options from the kernel (specifically) do I need to choose to support my card when recompiling the kernel. Do I need to compile it as a module? or is there any other trick to make this works? Any help will be much appreciate. Thanks guys.
