Am I right in assuming that the only way I can get this network card to work right now for longer than 30 days is to pay Linuxant?? I do not care about WEP. . . I just want to be able to google!!! There was a great walkthrough for 2.4.x kernels but I'm using 2.6 so I assume that the walkthrough doesn't apply because I couldn't get through it and get it to work.

Please, any help at all is welcome. I'm using Linuxant freetrial for now. I'm hoping that I can find a solution before this trial runs out because before I had to boot into windows so I could search these forums for answers then boot back into linux to try stuff out and back and forth. . . it's not really fun

Keep in mind please that I'm a complete linux newbie, all I know how to do is run rpms so if you could, please be as detailed as possible.

If you're already using linuxant, then ndiswrapper may work as well. It is an open source project with similar goals to linuxant. The good thing is that Mandrake 10 comes with ndiswrapper installed. There is a nice how-to on the mandrakeusers site.
