Netgear WG111v2 with RHEL
Please don't shoot me for double posting (I've posted this on the newbie forum as well), I only just noticed this one that's specifically for wireless networking so my query is probably better suited to here.
I've had a look through the Linux tutorials and other questions on this forum, but I'm afraid I'm still a little confused about how to get onto the internet on my Linux partition. I'm having to connect wirelessly as my parents don't want cables trailing up the stairs, so it would be great if I could get the usb adaptor I'm currently using on the Windows side to work with Linux as well.
It's a Netgear WG111v2 usb adaptor and I'm running RHEL with a 2.4 kernel (I think). I've downloaded ndiswrapper to run, however the walkthrough I have tells me to find a file with the extension .inf on my installation cd and there doesn't seem to be one. Any pointers on where to start?
Thanks a lot,
