Netgear MA111 USB Wireless NIC Help

I have a Netgear MA111 USB wireless NIC that I am trying to confure on SuSE 9.1.

I am using wlan-ng-0.2.1pre21 but have also tried the version that comes with my distro.

I created a script based upon what I found on the net. It's contents are:

--Start--
modprobe prism2_usb prism2_doreset=1
wlanctl-ng wlan0 lnxreq_ifstate ifstate=enable
wlanctl-ng wlan0 lnxreq_hostwep decrypt=true encrypt=true
wlanctl-ng wlan0 dot11req_mibset mibattribute=dot11WEPDefaultKeyID=0
wlanctl-ng wlan0 dot11req_mibset mibattribute=dot11ExcludeUnencrypted=true
wlanctl-ng wlan0 dot11req_mibset mibattribute=dot11PrivacyInvoked=true
wlanctl-ng wlan0 dot11req_mibset mibattribute=dot11WEPDefaultKey0="<My WEP Key>"
wlanctl-ng wlan0 lnxreq_autojoin "ssid=aigfpc" authtype="sharedkey"
--End--

When I run it I get:

--Start--
aweeks-ecei-lap:~ # ./wlanup
message=lnxreq_ifstate
ifstate=enable
resultcode=success
message=lnxreq_hostwep
resultcode=no_value
decrypt=true
encrypt=true
message=dot11req_mibset
mibattribute=dot11WEPDefaultKeyID=0
resultcode=success
message=dot11req_mibset
mibattribute=dot11ExcludeUnencrypted=true
resultcode=success
message=dot11req_mibset
mibattribute=dot11PrivacyInvoked=true
resultcode=success
message=dot11req_mibset
mibattribute=dot11WEPDefaultKey0="My WEP goes here"
resultcode=success
message=lnxreq_autojoin
ssid='aigfpc'
authtype=sharedkey
resultcode=success
--End--

Everything worked, so I check the config

--Start--
aweeks-ecei-lap:~ # iwconfig
lo no wireless extensions.

eth0 no wireless extensions.

sit0 no wireless extensions.

wlan0 IEEE 802.11-b ESSID:"XXXX" Nickname:"XXXX"

Link Quality:52/92 Signal level:-57 dBm Noise level:-96 dBm
Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0

--End--

Everything appears correct, but when I do a "dhcpcd -i wlan0" I get the following in my /var/log/messages

Anybody have any suggestions?
