Need Recommendation on Wireless USB adaptor for Linux

I am creating a few computers for some friends, and they all want them to be wireless so they can use them anywhere w/o having to worry about ethernet cables in their appartments.

I've been reading the forums, but didnt find what i felt was a consensus....

What is the best, most compatable wireless USB adaptor for linux?

That is, I want to buy a Wireless USB adaptor that will be easy for me to setup + configure, cheaper the better :)

Thanks!!

You can check thes two sites for driver compatibility :

For prism2 based hardware : http://www.linux-wlan.org/docs/wlan_adapters.html.gz

For amtel based hardware : http://at76c503a.berlios.de/devices.html

Both are source drivers, that you've got to compile, which can be tricky, especially with the 2.6 kernel and the Fedora Core (see this thread ).

The Netgear MA111 USB adapter works fine for me with RH9/FC1/FC2.
