Unhappy Ndiswrapper Stuck on installing Wireless card

I have installed Ndiswrapper 0.8 followed the instructions that came with it step by step. But when I get down to >modprobe ndiswrapper I run that command with no errors so I checked using dmesg to see if the wireless device had been installed and nothing comes up. When i installed the driver it did say present when i checked with the command ndiswrapper -l so im not sure what im doing wrong. Would be nice to get this going before i start school again. im going to keep working at it but if anyone has any ideas feel free to give me hint or two

Thanks
Sean
