Hi,
I've recently installed Kubuntu 6.10 on my Acer Aspire 5050 laptop. It's on a dual boot with Windows MCE, and seems to have worked fine so far.
The only problem is the wireless. In Network settings I can see eth0 (my wired connection) and eth1, my wireless adapter. However, eth1 is disabled, and will not be enable. In kNetworkManager, both show up again, although this time it says "No wireless network found", and I have the option then to enter the details myself, which doesn't work.
I've done a search around on the internet, and I've found that to get my wireless working I'm going to need to use ndiswrapper. So, I've downloaded and installed it, and also tried to install my driver for the Broadcom BCM4318. However, when reading through the system logs, I see:

I've installed the driver that was recommended on the wiki. I'm sorry if it seems something obvious, but I'm more or less a

to Linux. I've only managed to get ndiswrapper working once before, and that was with a different laptop.
Thanks, Thomas
