ndiswrapper (link_pe_images:604): DLL initialize failed for athwx.sys

I have a problem trying to setup the Atheros wlan card on a pavilion dv6721la laptop.

The closest I've been from getting it to work is by using netathwx with ndiswrapper. But when it loads, I get this message:

It's been a while. I'm still unable to get the wifi to work.
