Mandrake 9.1 & buying a wifi card

hello,
looking once again 2 buy an inexpensive wifi card and wanted to know if any one has any good experience w/mdk & getting wifi card 2 work. I had first tried the smc 2632w v2 but after 2 weeks of trying 2 get it up and working I gave up and returned it. Am using mdk 9.1 on old ibm tp 390. not looking 2 spend more then $35-40. any suggestions welcome...

One of the best deals I've found is on the ZyAIR B-100. It's about $35 and is (I think) a re-badged Bromax Prism3 card. ~80mw. Linksys also sold the card as a WPC11v3. The ZyXEL card comes with a supplicant for pre-XP Windows systems (not much value to many). It does not have an external antenna connector.

Almost any Prism 2.5 or 3 card will work (a Prism2 card would, too, but I'd stay away from those - relatively poor range and sensitivity).
