Looking for drivers for a Broadcom ethernet card.

Good morning.

Today is my 5th day of using linux, so I guess I am a total newbie.

This is my problem: I need to get my ethernet card working.

ifconfig does not list it at all.
lspci lists it as: 03:00.0 Ethernet controller: Broadcom Corporation NetLink BCM5789 Gigabit Ethernet PCI Express (rev 11)
lspci -n gave me this: 03:00.0 0200: 14e4:169d (rev 11)
My kernel is: 2.6.15-gentoo-r1

I did some research, and I found something known as ndiswrapper.
I used "emerge ndiswrapper" to get it.
It looks like I need a windows driver for that card though. I looked, but I could not find one for that card.

Could anyone give me a hand with this? I do not even know if I am going in the right direction. I might have missed something in my research.

Thank you.

I looked for the drivers for hours. Did not find any.
So I came here and posted a plea for help.
I found what I was looking for by casually browsing the net a few minutes later.

Oops. Sorry.
