hello i want to use linux troppix for the program aircrack.but i cant get the program working under linux ill tell you step by step what i do ...first i click on the start button then click on terminals then click on eterm.now i see a black screen with the text root@troppix # i write airodump next to it.is this wright?...then it asks to put the interface outputname and channel tasks.but what stands for interface?does anyone know how you typ the command line wright????
try airmon.sh start yourcard
it should say montermode enabled(if card surports if not then isnot going to work)
then airodump yourcard outputfile chanel
yourcard=wlan0, ra0 whatever etc
i think you need about 300,000 ivs for 64bit and about 1,000,000 for 128bit but you cant tell wich it is untill you get the key,
i have used this on my own network for fun but ther are no other networks in range of my house so im intersted to see if you have sucess with your cracking
