Linux Compatible Wireless PCI cards

Could anyone give me the names of any cards that are fully compatible with Linux. Ndiswrapper and all that is fine but I have had difficulty using these alternatives. Anytime I ask the simple question of which card can I go buy that will just work with linux, I get well it depends. Can no one just give me the answer to a simply question. Which wireless pci cards work with Linux. I hate to appear rude but it depends or look here just don't seem to answer this simple question.

personally i buy generic atheros cards. the madwifi driver is loaded by default more and more and it seems to work well for me.

I think you need to choose wireless pci card which use module "orinoco" or "prism 1/2".
