linksys wpc54g and ndiswrapper

I am running Fedora Core 2, test 1.

I have a linksys wpc54g wireless card.

First question: What driver do I install? The only inf files on the CD or in the download are "lsbcmnds.inf" and "autorun.inf". I can't figure out how to unpack the CAB files because they appear to be non-standard and none of my utilities recognize them as valid.

Second question: If I install the lsbcmnds.inf, file I get the following in dmesg when I do "modprobe ndiswrapper":

ndiswrapper: no version for "struct_module" found: kernel tainted.
ndiswrapper version 0.6 loaded
ndiswrapper adding bcmwl5.sys

Note that no wlan device is being created.

Any suggestions?

Regards,
Mandell Degerness

OK, now I feel foolish. The yenta-socket module was not being automagically installed for some reason. I ran "modprobe yenta-socket" followed by "modprobe ndiswrapper" and everything appears to be good now.
