Linksys Wireless G PCI card (WMP54G I think)
I've seen a few tutorials out there on installing the wireless G pci card, but following it step-by-step still causes my system to crash, nothing to happen, or just random errors.
I've tried getting it to work mainly on Suse Linux 9.2 and Slackware 10.0/10.1. Is there a distro that would be better for this? Perhaps with better wireless support built in? |
You could try Ubuntu, but if it works in one distro, it should work in any. Drivers and kernels are the only difference. You may have to use a release candidate or cvs version in order to get full functionality. If nothing else, the NDIS wrapper is a breeze to setup.
