Linksys Wireless G PCI card (WMP54G I think)

I've seen a few tutorials out there on installing the wireless G pci card, but following it step-by-step still causes my system to crash, nothing to happen, or just random errors.

I've tried getting it to work mainly on Suse Linux 9.2 and Slackware 10.0/10.1.

Is there a distro that would be better for this? Perhaps with better wireless support built in?

You could try Ubuntu, but if it works in one distro, it should work in any. Drivers and kernels are the only difference. You may have to use a release candidate or cvs version in order to get full functionality. If nothing else, the NDIS wrapper is a breeze to setup.
