Linksys Wireless B router help

Is there a reason why my linksys router will not let me connect to it wirelessly when i'm in linux? is there any way to change settings to allow it to connect with windows and linux? Please help.

I doubt it is the router, but your local configuration (wireless card, config, etc.). What do you have on THAT end?

But how come i can connect to other wireless routeres just not mine

If you can connect to other routers, then the wireless device is probably installed and you need to setup how it operates.

There is a manpage 'man wireless' for wireless-tools. These tools can help you monitor and setup your wireless connections. You will also need to match the settings by using the web-based interface for the linksys router.

I did what the webpage said and even when i'm 2 ft away from my linksys router. Fedora and my comp will not pick it up... It sees it in the iwlist and in the NetworkManager but it will not connect to it for some reason... Anyone please help.
