Lenovo Thinkpad Fedora 7

I installed fedora 7 on my Lenovo Thinkpad with the Intel wireless card.
I can connect to my router if I don't set the open WEP key. But when I set the WEP key on the router, I can't reconnect.

> uname -r
2.6.23.8-34.fc7

wlan0 IEEE 802.11g ESSID:"toonpoint"
Mode:Managed Frequency:2.457 GHz Access Point: 00:0F:3D:40:03:88
Bit Rate=36 Mb/s Tx-Power=27 dBm
Retry min limit:7 RTS thrff Fragment thr=2346 B
Link Quality=67/100 Signal level=-66 dBm Noise level=-95 dBm
Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0
Tx excessive retries:0 Invalid misc:0 Missed beacon:0

I'm using NetworkManager to setup the connection. Any tips on where to start looking to fix this?
In NetowrkManager I set it up as below:
NetworkName: toonpoint
Wireless Security: WEP 64/128-bit Hex
Key: sasha
Authentication: Open System

The only problem is when a WEP key on the router is set to 64bit and Open.

I hope the key you set isn't actually sasha right?

Try doing it manually with the iwconfig command:

/sbin/iwconfig ethX essid toonpoint key [encrypted key generated by router]

And ethX is eth device your wireless card registers as, most likely eth1 if you have a onboard ethernet connection.
