Is there any way for my Linksys WMP54GX wireless adapter to work on Fedora Core 5?

I don't know of any other information I could post that may help; this is a pretty straightforward question.

The WMP54GX is not on the ndiswrapper list of known working cards, and googling/searching linux forums has left me with nothing so far... no previous instances of WMP54GX owners succeeding with Linux.

If anyone has any ideas/solutions, I would be eternally grateful.

Edit: Oh no, I didn't spot the Wireless subforum. Could someone please move this thread there? Thanks.

I've reported your thread and asked the mods to move it for you :).

Can you post the output of "lspci" (or "/sbin/lspci") please? That should tell us what chipset your card has.

LSPCI output

Sorry for the delay.

Here is the relevant output of lspci -v:

Code:

05:06.0 Ethernet controller: Airgo Networks Inc Unknown device 0001 (rev 03)
        Subsystem: Linksys Unknown device 0045
Flags: bus master, medium devsel, latency 32, IRQ 11
        Memory at d4080000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=128K]
        Memory at d4000000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=512K]
Capabilities: [40] Power Management version 1

Here is the product page

Notice that it uses SRX technology. I think this may factor in... second driver maybe?

Thanks.
