Is the inbuilt wireless adapter compatible for backtrack 3 or 4 or 5

Dear all,

I am using Windows 7 with inbuilt atheros AR9245 wireless 802.11b/n adapter. For backtrack 3, am using usb live backtrack bootable.I have successfully booted in to the backtrack 3 but whenever i type "airmon-ng" no interface no chipshet and no driver shown and i have gone further with iwconfig and ifconfig- a and no result at all with the same response.

Thanks in advance for the assistance.

Cheer!

Backtrack has very little use for more people. Why do you need to run backtrack?
