Hi!
I have a problem with my Intel Pro/wireless 2100..
I use the driver ipw2100, found on ipw2100.souceforge.net .
I use Slackware 10.1 with kernel 2.6.11.6 without any patch, and I have compiled the driver as external, whith CONFIG_IPW2100_LEGACY_FW_LOAD set to "Y".
The firmware is in /etc/firmware.

All is good without encryption but when i try to use WEP, there is no connection.

I read that I must have arc4 and crc32 modules..
For arc4 there isn't problem, but when I write CONFIG_CRC32=m in kernel config file, it switch automatically to CONFIG_CRC32=y..

Can anyone help me??

Which version of the ipw2100-driver do you use?
Are you using hostap for WEP?

I'm using version 1.1.0 ( I think, I'm on work now and can't check ), together with hostap for using WEP in Slackware 10.1 with kernel 2.6.11.6 and it's working just fine.

If you still have problem when I arrive at home in the end of the week, I can check my config.

I have solved this problem. I just leave all the kernel setting as default.
Then my ipw2100 work file.
It seem like Fedora 4 ships with all the driver and setting for WIFI.
