Internet on my laptop

Hello. I have a Toshiba Tecra S1 that comes up with wireless (and wired) internet connection. I have a (networkeverywhere.com/products/nwr04b.asp) Network Everywhere router and both wireless and wired connection work under Win XP Pro. I use Fedore, so I want to access to internet under Linux. Since I know that wireless connections under Linux are quite complicated since they require other drivers such as NDisWrapper (??), I am trying to connect with wires. I try to setup the network using DHCP to get my IP addresse but it does not work. So I try with static IP entering all the data I get under windows when I access 192.168.1.1 but after I type i.e google.ca, I wait a while and then they say cannot find the website. Since NetWork Everywhere comes with a CD that I used to configure it on my Windows, they say they dont support anything else.. So what can I do?
Thx,
Max

Check your /etc/resolv.conf. backup the current one and touch a new resolv.conf. Also shutdown shorewall package. You should be able to connect.
