Intel PRO 2011 Wireless card crashing Mandrake 9.1

I have a Intel PRO/2011 wireless nic card,

When I try to install Mandrake 9.1 from ISO's with the Card in the PCMCIA slot when install says "Checking PCMCIA Cards" the light will flash on the card then the computer will reboot itself, I also tried installing without the card in and inserting it when 9.1 has installed and KDE desktop comes up but it reboots again when i insert the card, it worked in 9.0 and worked with 9.1 cooker but now i try to installed 9.1 final it wont have it.

Can anyone help me on this ?

Thanks

Kevin

system crash

I am experiencing a similar problem, though not quite as severe. What I have read is that some memory must be exlcuded in the /etc/pcmcia/config.opts file. The problem is (may be) that the pcmcia is using some active memory that is trashing something important.

That is the extent of my research to the moment and I have a post here asking for help on how to determine what memory to exclude and then to exclude it.

Perhaps we will get an answer!
