Installing Linksys WPC54G wireless card

I installed Mandrake 10 and my wireless card without any problem two days ago . Today, I had to reinstall Mandrake. After installing, I tried to install my linksys wireless with card the same procedure but I didn't install it.

First of all, I uninstalled ndiswrapper-0.4. After that I installed ndiswrapper-0.10 and wireless tools 0.26. I also installed my card's driver (bcmwl5). After that when I wrote ndiswrapper -l. I got a message that was saying that I also wrote lspci -n , lspcidrake. It didn't work.

After that, I configured my wireless card setting with iwconfig. Now, my card doesn't work. Can anyone have an idea?

P.S: My wireless card is linksys WPC54G (I am trying to install it with using bcmwl5.inf )

Um, if lspci isn't present that sounds more like something went wrong with the Mandrake re-install. Check in your /sbin directory to see if lspci is there. If it isn't, I suspect you may be looking at another re-install. The other explanation is that you aren't running the ndiswrapper install as root and your user doesn't have permission to run lspci. Make sure your su to root before you try to install ndiswrapper.

I took a look in my /sbin. There was no lspci. Can you tell me how I can install it?. Is there any way to install it without re-installing mandrake? or When I install mandrake, which option should I active?

I was using my root account when I was installing ndiswrapper.

I did a little googling around and it looks as if Mandrake has re-named lspci to lspcidrake and it may reside in the /usr/bin directory. Have a look there. If it is there, you probably need to create a symbolic link named lspci and point it to lspcidrake (if Mandrake hasn't done that already). If it isn't there, you need to install the pciutils package and you'll probably find that on your Mandrake CDs.

Thanks for helping. I installed pciutils package and my problem was solved. Now, I can connect internet by using my wireless card.
