Installation trouble Realtek RTL-8185 Wireless PCI card

Hi,

I am new to Linux , have recently installed RHEL,
and am trying to install a Realtek wireless card.
Have downloaded the drivers below, but am getting
a 'gcc: command not found' error when trying to
install. My question, what is gcc and how can I
install it.

Thanks for any assistance

Eoin
