Are you sure your network card is set up properly, and that your router is properly configured?

i think everything is setup properly. I manages to scan a network from linux, but it seems i dont have an access point to the router, i know thats important, but how can i get that??

Just because you can do a network scan doesn't mean anything - Linux has a loopback device so you could be just scanning the loopback device and not scanning your network at all.

Do "ifconfig" as root and post the results here.

Hmmm. . . well i don't know what to tell you then. Try running "netconfig" as root.

badweed 08-23-2005 09:40 AM

any other options?

NetRAVEN5000 08-23-2005 11:05 AM

Not that I know of, but try "netconfig" as root, like I said before.
