How to permanently update routing tables


Hi,
I want which files do i need to update inorder for the routes to be maintained after a reboot......

eg.
route add -host 216.109.112.135/32 gw 172.16.1.33


where should this line be appended to ......


Thanx in advance for any help you can offer ,,,,

A more to the point information would have been, what kind of distro you're running. They're all using the linux kernel but the initialization scripts are all different.

Plus, why post this in the wireless networking forum?
