how to install the driver package of intel wireless 220bg drive in rhel 5.0
hi ..
i m a new user to rhel .
i would like to know the installation process of th driver of intel wireless 2200bg card.

'find /lib/modules/ -name ipw220*'
.. will probable show the module ipw2200.ko as available.
Anyway kernel-2.6.18-128.1.1x has it.
Has been included in the kernel for years.
May be : 1) su
2) system-config-network
.. will help you set to set up your wireless ?

thanx for ur reply!!
the find command shows the file but the system-config-network is not detecting the hardware?
nor does it shows the card for creating a new profile for wireless!

i had just downloaded the firmware files nd place them in /lib/firmware
|
