tata photon plus in suse 11.4
Hi, i was struggling to configure tata photon plus in open suse 11.4 for a few days, going through different posts. today I figured out that it is even more simple than I could imagine. So I want to share it. First, install usb modeswitch then insert your datacard. Right click on the icon showing network status in panel. click on 'edit connection' In the window select mobile broadband. select CDMA (for Tata). type your access point in 'number' field (#777 for Tata photon plus)type user name and password(which are both 'internet' for photon plus) enable 'connect automatically' option click apply and you are done I think this should work for other connections using proper access point, user name and password |
