How to install and configure a Trendnet TEW-228pi

I have installed SuSE 9.3 and am now trying to network to my Belkin Wireless. My card is a Trendnet TEW-228pi and was previously working in windows. I have the windows drivers. Can anyone give me a walkthrough on how to configure the card and set up a wireless network?

Welcome to LQ!

According to the LQ HCL entry for this card, ndiswrapper is your best bet. There is a ton of info on how to set up ndiswrapper in their wiki .

Thx. I will give it a shot, and for future searches on this topic - I ran into some technical data which suggests that the realtek 8180 chipset is supported by older kernels, but not newer. Still going to give it a try for now.
