How to configure ADMtek wireless card (Xterasys brand)

I used the information in another thread on wireless chipset and identified my wireless card chipset as Linksys ADMtek 8211 but now I can't determine how to set up my wireless network on Fedora Core 3 which I just installed on a ThinkPad 600 E. I also have an ethernet card that I can install that is configured as eth0 with a xircon card and works. However I would like to configure the wireless card to work as well. I use Verizon and a westell versalink router.
Thank you for your help!: newbie:

first of all you should check if there are linux drivers provided.
If not you should use your windows xp drivers, with a wrapper called ndiswrapper.
Try searching for ndiswrapper rtl8180 on this forum, there's a nice how to, that I used.
It's not the same chipset but the procedure should be the same.

I read somewhere else that you would have to change your stack size in the kernel if using feodora.
But you will find out, if your computer locks up.

Good luck

Yes, there are native linux drivers.

http://aluminum.sourmilk.net/adm8211/

20041122 is the last release that works on FC3.. at least, until redhat releases a 2.6.10 based kernel, which all the later releases rely on.
