how do you set up your Linux box to route secure wifi?

Here's what I want to do:

1. set up my Linux box (running SuSE 9 at the moment) to receive wifi

2. set up my XP laptop to encrypt its wifi

3. surf the Net (email, web mostly) from the laptop so that all laptop transmissions are encrypted and sent over wifi to the Linux box, which decrypts and routes them appropriately over the web

How would I go about doing this?
