There is more than one version of this wireless card (Netgear WG311, PCI). According to http://linux-wless.passys.nl/query_p...ndname=Netgear the first version works fully (I have a WG311T so can confirm this) but the two later versions have different chipsets, and are not (yet) supported.

Please tell us:
  • your distribution and version
  • any version / revision / chipset information on the card itself
  • the output of these commands (you need to be root):
    Code:

    uname -r

    lspci

If you have the first revision of the card, which has an Atheros chipset, I can tell you how to set it up with madwifi. If you have a later revision I won't be able to help.
