How do I use an old drive as a print server for my wireless network

I have a wireless laptop and use a router. I am wanting to be able to print from my laptop without having to plug into the printer. I know that I can use my old tower as a print server since my printer isn't capable of hooking straight to the router. I just can't seem to figure out how to do it. Both the old tower and the laptop have the printer drivers installed and both also have the programs for the router. Now what do I do?? I am really confused on all this new technology, so any replies will have to be in layman's terms!!

Thanks for any and all help!

Bill

Assuming the OS on the print server is Linux, you need to set up the CUPS print server. This will allow other computers on your network to be able print to that printer. Look here for networking info on this CUPS documentation.
