What little I know
I had Linux on a very old laptop a little while back. I just inserted it, and it worked for sending files to my cellphone, but my cellphone couldn't send to the laptop. I later, after having sold the laptop, found out that Bluetooth is also called OBEX. Depending on your distro, you would search through your packet manager (Synaptic, Yast, apt-get, and a few I don't know) for the search strings "Bluetooth" and "OBEX". You might also want to try searching the Net for those same things with "Linux" or "GNU\Linux" added to it.
That might, or might not, give you a software suite similar to BlueSoleil's (it's the one I have seen) where you can synchronise Bluetooth devices, build up a PAN (Personal Area Network), connect wirelessly to audio, printer, fax, LAN, camera, etc. with a graphical interface.
Hope this has been any help at all.
