Help-crazy With Wireless(netgearwg311v3)

Hello to everybody
I am new Linux user,so i need some help to move on.
The problem i have is with my wireless card(netgeag wg311v3)
I installed ndiswrapper(1.23edition,with kernel,kernel devel 2.6.17-1.2174_FC5)
Everything went ok.The drivers installed.
I execute ifconfig wlan0 and it shows:
wlan0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:14:6C:76:86:1A
UP BROADCAST MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
TX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000
RX bytes:0 (0.0 b) TX bytes:0 (0.0 b)
Interrupt:201 Memory:e6010000-e6020000

Then iwlist wlan0 scan and shows:
Warning: Driver for device wlan0 has been compiled with version 20
of Wireless Extension, while this program supports up to version 19.
Some things may be broken...

wlan0 Scan completed :
Cell 01 - Address: 00:14:BF:CB:10:BC
ESSID:"linksys"

36 Mb/s; 48 Mb/s; 54 Mb/s

The problem is that when i go to the control panel, networks to create a new setting and i choose wireless connection it does not appear anywhere the wlan0 or netgeag or something!I have tried to do ifconfig eth0 down and ifconfig wlan0 up but still nothiong.I use a static address.
 This is my problem. If anyone can help,I'd appreciate

When i do dmesg it shows:

ndiswrapper troubles

I have not worked with this particular card but I have gotten a few cards working with ndiswrapper. You are not going to like this but I recommend getting a card that is natively supported. My experience with ndiswrapper was even when it worked, it was unstable and I had to reboot to fix it if the connection dropped. There are many supported cards our there. Some are pretty cheap. Check out:

I have had very few problems with Atheros cards using the madwifi drivers.

Good Luck.
