Help....Can someone get me a PREMADE driver for the orinoco classic gold pc card


Help. XCan someobne get me a premade driver for teh orinoco classic gold pc card for redhat 8.0....PLEASE.......I bought a whole new cardfor luinux and i dont know how to make the driver. The directions they gave me are too hard. PLEASE HELP.

paulbak; question? is network card compatible with linux? if it is then depending whether u use text mode or gui window, the os should recognize card, all u would have to do is configure to work to ur needs. follow instructions from cards user manual in setup & the os`es instructions
(step by step) installation with connect to net. follow those instructions carefully ,slowly & comprehend what,how,why & where to do them!

dont you need a diver? I put the card in and my computer beeped twice and that was it. It is compatible with linux and its a wifi card. i dont have teh directions and i donloaded a readme and it said ow to make the driver. So now what?

paulbak; ha, could you have someone whom may know howto program & compile that driver for you from those instructions from download. that manner would be solution. a gentle suggestion & information for next time,
please include all pertinent information of problem: ie; network is wifi, without that is misleading & may furnish wrong information about solving problem.

wel thanks, and ill be sutre to put more info in next time. So my next question is if anyone hear has th same card as i do ( orinoco classic gold pc card 11mbps) and can help make the driver or give me their driver or whatever
