getting applications to use wireless interface

Hi,

I have my Intel prowireless 2915 drivers set up correctly and can connect to my access point. This wireless interface shows up as eth1 and the wired is eth0. Can someone tell me how to get the applications to use eth1 (the wireless)?

I'm not sure what you're getting at here ... which applications are you talking about? All of them, perhaps? Anyway, as far as I know, applications in Linux use whatever interface is available. In the case of multiple interfaces being available, I have no idea how this is resolved.

Also, out of curiosity, why do you want to control which interface applications use?

Things do get a bit goofy when you've got two active interfaces up and running. I'd take down the wired one with ifconfig and that should pretty much force everything to use the wireless connection.
