Fendora 7 hates my NIC! HELP!!?
I am playing around with Fendora 7 and it hates my NIC, it is a wireless LAN (network interface card)... which is mostly obvious and the brand is; Atheros AR5005G. Any ideas? The HAL keeps on trying to do a WIRED connection RRRR..... the company who makes the adapter only provides drivers for windows.... figures, darn communists.
I use ndiswrapper and it works fine, even better with ndisgtk - graphical my favorite :P
i am having similar problems with my realtek devices in my toshiba L300 - /sbin/modprobe crashes, however if i disable the device in bios it works fine. have you tried that?
