fedora12broadcom 4312 pci id 14e4:4315 installed with rpmfusion yumupdate not working

-dell wireless 1397 mini-card,broadcom 4312 pci id 14e4:4315 installed with rpmfusion yumupdate -installed but not working

showing installed in network configuration utility, but showing inactive under device tab, also delete activate deactivate tabs not working

-ifconfig shows status eth1 up

-error::root@localhost ~]# ifup eth1
Error for wireless request "Set Encode" (8B2A) :
SET failed on device eth1 ; Invalid argument.

Determining IP information for eth1...

i have got it working now , the error msg wat meant for the ESSID

i entered my broadband router ESSID in my cards wireless settings and it worked after reboot
