Fedora Core 3 Cisco 350

Hey all and thank in advance for any assistance. I have installed Fedora Core 3 on an HP/Compaq NC6000 with a Cisco pcmcia 350 card. The card was in the machine during the install and was detect by fedora. Upon some advice in a few other post I upgraded my kernel. My wireless card will see my access point when I do a ./iwlist eth1 scanning. Thinking it may have been just my access point I tried this in another location with the same results. I enter the ESSID and WEP key with no results. Each time it fails to bring up the interface. I have also tried to use the network manager with the same results. Any idea?

Thanks

To get dhcp info you need to run a client. When you've set the essid and WEP key type in a console or terminal without the quotes: "dhcpcd eth1"
That should get the info. Did you try this already?
